On the occasion of a “hackathon” organized by the GSK France laboratory on March 27 and 28, 2017 in Paris, the ESCP Europe and 42 students combine their skills around a Public Health issue: shingles, a frequent and little known disease of the general public, the complications of which are potentially serious with important repercussions on the quality of life of the patients.
The GSK laboratory is committed to the side of high school students to bring together all the skills needed to develop new digital projects that can improve knowledge around shingles. To “think differently”, the students of ESCP Europe (Business School) and 42 (School of Computer Development), with different but complementary profiles, will reflect together on the services and technologies of tomorrow, during a large gathering called ” hackathon “. Behind this initiative, a simple principle: to put its expertise at the service of a common project to offer in 48 hours a functional prototype that can bring real added value in the knowledge of shingles and its impact on the quality of life of patients.
